Admittedly, I shed a few tears witnessing this walk down the aisle. It was beautiful in every way.
Wether the first look happens prior to the ceremony or as the bride is walking down the aisle to her groom, it is always a special moment, full of emotion. As a photographer, I love when couples opt to have a first look and knock out the bulk of the portraits before guests even begin to arrive. It makes my job easier and typically puts a more relaxed pace to the day.
As a guest/viewer, I love, love, love when couples choose to share that moment with their guests. In fact, at this wedding I would bet that there were more teary-eyed guests than not because you just can’t help but feel a part of it all. In most cases, guests have played a part. They’ve grown up with the bride and/or groom, walked with the couple through the ups and downs, and done life with them for some number of years. It’s why weddings are such big celebrations.
Nothing is too big and no detail is too small.
Even that single tear rolling down this dapper man’s cheek.
