Have I mentioned recently how much I love Utah & Arizona?!? Like, so, so much love? My first taste of the beautiful red rock, dry desert came several years ago when I helped a friend moved from Nashville to Seattle and we detoured to Arches National Park. I had been itching to get back ever since and explore more of this part of the country.
Last year I joined my sister in Phoenix for a few days while she was attending a conference. From there, I took some time to myself to head to Northern Arizona and explore Sedona, Flagstaff, The Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, and Monument Valley. It was a lot to pack in to only a few days, but I loved the open road and great views.
Last month I took another trip out west. This time to Utah (with some brief time spent in Arizona). I posted about the first part of that trip last week. Hiking The Wave was the goal of the trip, but since we were nearby other amazing places, specifically Bryce Canyon & Zion National Parks, we spent some time checking them out, too.
